Important information about this inspection:

• This inspection report is not a guarantee or warranty of any kind and is only valid on the inspection date.
• The items we check are limited to those listed inside the inspection report
• APPI, LLC will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible for vehicle repair costs (parts and labor).
• We can’t tell you about a defect if it doesn’t manifest itself during the road test and inspection.
• We will not remove or disassemble any portion of the vehicle during the road test and inspection.
• Engine control sensors, relays and solenoids will not be tested.
• Tires will be examined for tread wear and obvious defects only.
• MIL (Check Engine) illumination will only be checked on OBDII compatible vehicles (1996-present).
• Any and all repair estimates are speculative and generic and are in no way representative of any actual repair facility.  All estimates are built on individual inspector’s experience and vehicle knowledge.
• APPI, LLC will not check a vehicle for the following conditions/defects:
  • Fuel and oil pressure/consumption.
  • Alarm system operations.
  • Cylinder compression.
  • Steering and suspension geometry and alignment.

Liability Disclaimer:

An inspection conducted by APPI, LLC will provide only the information relevant to the current condition and operation of the vehicle being inspected.  The inspection report in no way implies or guarantees the performance or longevity of said vehicle.  Each inspection report will document all obvious vehicle defects (fit & finish).  All repair estimates and value reports are loosely based on current market value and the personal opinion of the individual inspector.  To guarantee an unbiased inspection, no repair facilities or parts vendors will be recommended unless personally requested by client.  Intermittent defects or damage after the inspection are always a possibility, and APPI, LLC will not be held responsible for said defects.

APPI, LLC reserves the right to refuse service.  Inspections are based on what is seen and heard through the eyes and ears of our inspectors.  APPI, LLC reserves the right to not perform an inspection in adverse weather conditions or in the absence of adequate light.  APPI, LLC will not disassemble any portion of a vehicle during an inspection.  Changes in a vehicle can occur between the time a vehicle is inspected and when the vehicle is actually purchased. These changes include, but are not limited too, physical and mechanical damage, owner modifications and/or substandard repairs.  These changes may detrimentally impact the value and/or appearance of a vehicle.  APPI, LLC is not responsible for these changes should they occur.  APPI, LLC inspections do not represent any guarantee of the condition of the vehicle.  APPI, LLC pre-purchase inspections are not intended for diagnosing the underlying cause of mechanical defects or estimating exact repair costs.  APPI, LLC does not determine if a vehicle is compliant with Federal or State emission standards.

Money Back Guarantee:

If a vehicle is inspected by APPI, LLC, and all service and repair records are intact, no apparent collision damage has occurred and, said vehicle is in overall good condition we will back it with a limited guarantee.  If the transmission or engine should have an internal or mechanical failure within 14 days or 500 miles (whichever comes first) from the date and mileage of inspection, APPI will refund the cost of the inspection.  Also, should a vehicle sell after an inspection has been performed but before the inspection report is delivered, APPI will refund the inspection cost.  This is the limit of our liability.  This warranty does not cover vehicle repairs.  There are no other express or implied warranties of any type.
